Founded in 2008 and federally registered as a Canadian non-profit in 2018, IIRP Canada has grown into a leading provider of restorative practices training and consulting. Under the visionary leadership of founding director Bruce Schenk, IIRP Canada has supported individuals, institutions, and communities in building stronger relationships, repairing harm, and fostering healthier, more connected environments.

As a distinctly Canadian organisation, we work in partnership with schools, community groups, government agencies, faith organisations, and workplaces across the country. Our approach is rooted in the understanding that relational practices can transform systems and strengthen the fabric of communities — one conversation at a time.

Our bilingual team of experienced, Canadian-based instructors supports initiatives in both English and French, offering services in-person and online from coast to coast. Graduate-level courses are available online in English through the IIRP Graduate School, while all other programs and supports are tailored to reflect the unique cultural and organisational needs of the diverse communities we serve in Canada.

IIRP Canada is proud to be an affiliate of the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP), an accredited graduate school located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA. As part of this global network, we are committed to advancing restorative practices as a pathway to equity, collaboration, and lasting social change.
